The MULTISOLAR is a thermal and light diffused multilayers film produced with co-polymers in different percentage of ethylene vynil-acetate (EVA) and with UV stabilizers and I.R. absorbers. Compared to the Multieva film it presents an evident opacity due to the use of a special I.R. absorber. It guarantees a fantastic thermal effect (lower maximum temperature during the day and higher minimum temperature during the night) and, at the same time, more than 88% of the sun light transmission, reducing the problem of the shadow zone and giving a well balanced growing and a more regular maturation of the protected cultivations. For these reasons the Multisolar is recommended for the greenhouse cultivations in very hot zones, with annual sun light higher than 130 kly (for example Sicily). Eiffel proposes two different versions of the film according to life duration: Multisolar 3 in 150 microns thickness (technical data sheet) for duration covering of one agricultural season (classified in terms of duration in “B” class referring to EN 13206 law) Multisolar 33 in 200 micron thickness (technical data sheet) for duration covering of 3 agricultural seasons (classified in terms of duration in “D” class referring to EN 13026 law) The MULTISOLAR 3 film is proposed only with the anti-drop additive, while the MULTISOLAR 33 film with anti-drop additive (AD) and anti-fog additive (AF), very helpful in winter cultivation.
